Where to go if you suspect exposure to COVID-19?

The Board of Trustees is composed of five people elected by the voters of the hospital district for a three (3) year term. They are representatives from the areas of the district. The Board is responsible for seeing that the hospital is properly equipped, organized, managed and maintained to carry out the goals and objectives of the institution. All policies of the hospital are formulated by the board. All members of the medical staff are appointed by the Board upon recommendations from the medical staff.

The Board of Trustees are responsible to the donors, the community and the district to insure the permanence of the hospital and its services. They are vitally concerned with the finances of the hospital and are responsible for the establishment of a yearly budget.

Health Check Points

Entrance points will be consolidated, and screening will be in place. Please follow posted signage and directives from on-site RCH employees. All staff, vendors, patients, and visitors are being screened upon entering the facility and asked to wear a mask. Your temperature will be checked and you will be asked to answer a few short questions. Screening stations are located just inside the main lobby entrance and the Rehab Center entrance. On Sundays, use the Emergency Room entrance as the main lobby entrance will be closed.

Masks Required

To ensure you and your loved ones feel safe, secure, and confident. RCH and the State of Kansas require universal face mask use:

  1. Inside, or inline, to enter any public indoor space.
  2. Obtaining services from the healthcare sector in settings including but not limited to a hospital, pharmacy, medical clinic, laboratory, physician or dental office, veterinary clinic, or blood bank.
  3. Waiting for riding on public transportation or while in a taxi, private car service, or ridesharing vehicle.
  4. While outdoors in public spaces and unable to maintain a 6-foot distance between individuals (not including individuals who reside together) with only infrequent or incidental moments of close proximity.

Wearing a mask right now is not about keeping yourself healthy, it is about keeping people around you healthy. Be selfless, by keeping your germs to yourself. Wear a mask to protect someone’s grandmother. Wear a mask to protect a veteran. Wear a mask to protect a child undergoing chemo. Be selfless. Wear a mask for those who need protection from this virus, which is all of us.

RCH’s Cafeteria and Dining Room is temporarily closed to the public.

Emergency Room

If you have a medical condition that requires immediate attention go directly to the Emergency Room or call 911.
