Visiting hours at Rooks County Health Center are from 8 a.m. — 8:30 p.m.
The doors at the main entrance are open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. After hours, visitors may enter through RCH’s emergency department entrance located on the north side. Depending on the season, some restrictions may apply – for example during influenza season, visitation can be limited.
At RCH our visiting hours are flexible to ensure our patients have the love and support they need from family and friends. We do ask that visitors help us maintain a quiet and healing environment. Requests for overnight stays by family/support person will be considered on a case by case basis. Patient rooms include chairs that make into beds if family members choose to stay.
We recognize that meeting the spiritual and religious needs of our patients and their families is an important part of caring for the whole person. RCH’s chapel, located right off the front lobby, is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Pastoral care with local pastors or priests is available by calling 785-434-4553.
Public wifi is available at no charge to our patients and visitors. Stop by the admission desk for login information.
