RCH Reinstates Entrance Screening

It’s not commentary….it’s common sense. Wearing a mask decreases the potential to spread or contract COVID-19.

Due to the increase in COVID-19 activity in the vicinity, the recent positive test of a Rooks County resident and because of a potential mass exposure event in Hays, RCH is resuming the screening protocol at hospital entrances and limiting visitors beginning Monday 6/29/2020.

RCH staff will be checking temperatures of all patients and visitors coming into the building. Patients and visitors may use their own mask if they have one. Reusable masks will be provided to you if you do not have your own.

Visitor limitations will be reinstated June 29 as well.  One dedicated visitor per inpatient stay and no visitors for outpatients unless they need physical/mental assistance or are a minor and need a parent/guardian.

Please, wear a face mask when in public and maintain social distancing.

Please, make the individual choice to protect yourself and others around you.
