RCH Celebrates New Year’s Baby

Bright, bouncy and beautiful Vincent Randall Shubert was the first baby born at Rooks County Health Center (RCH) in 2019! The proud parents are Sarah and Dustin Shubert of rural Ellis County. This adorable little boy entered the world at Rooks County Health Center on January 2nd at 8:19 p.m. weighing 7 pounds 6 1/2 oz. Dr. Lynn Fisher was the attending physician.

The Rooks County Health Center Auxiliary once again sponsored the annual New Year’s Baby Shower and presented the family with a gift basket containing baby wipes, diapers, toys, clothes, lotions, blankets and handmade crocheted cap and quilt.

Although residents of Ellis County, both Dustin and Sarah remarked that RCH was their first choice for delivery, as the entire family doctors here.

When asked to describe the quality of care they received at RCH, Sarah and Dustin’s immediate response was that it was superlative, saying “The nurses were amazing, Dr. Fisher is amazing and the very personal care was spectacular.” The compliments to the RCH staff extended to the quality of meals they received and the welcome they say they always receive at the admissions desk.

Congratulations to the entire Shubert family!

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks for the kindness and generosity of the Rooks County Health Center Auxiliary for the shower gifts.
