RCH Auxiliary Awards Scholarships

The Rooks County Health Center Auxiliary has awarded the following Memorial Scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year.

RCH Auxiliary Memorial Scholarship winners are Mary Ann Graf, Lyric Dewey and Maeson Dewey. 

Mary Ann Graf, Woodston, $500 to attend Colby Community College – Norton Campus, to complete her LPN.

Lyric Dewey, Plainville, $500 to attend Cloud County Community College Nursing Program to complete her RN. She has been employed at Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton since 2018.

Maeson Dewey, Plainville, $500 to attend Fort Hays State University School of Nursing to attain her Bachelor of Science degree with her RN. She is employed at Hays Medical Center.

RCH Employee Memorial Scholarship winners are Payton Littrell and LaDonna Shetterly.

Payton Littrell, Plainville, $700 to attend North Central Kansas Technical College to achieve her Associates Degree in Nursing as an RN. She has been employed at RCH for a number of years.

LaDonna Shetterly, Stockton, $700 to attend Hutchinson Community College for their online Health Information Management program. She has been employed at RCH for over 3 years.

For more than 30 years the RCH Auxiliary has sold Memorial Lights in remembrance of a loved one to fund their scholarships. This year the sale will take place in the fall with a memorial celebration prior to the Christmas season.
