Nurses Make a Difference

May is National Nurses Month, and Rooks County Health Center (RCH) is proud to honor the nurses of Rooks County who have shown so much compassion, commitment and courage over the past year.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Rooks County nurses have confronted the challenge with strength and sacrifice.  Honoring our nurses is even more significant considering the added burden of care during a time of incredible stress and challenge.

Whether it’s a once in a century national health emergency or routine daily care, nurses make a critical difference in the health of and wellbeing of the patients and families whose lives they touch.

Nurses are exceptional people delivering essential care every single day, bringing smiles, comfort and hope to our community.

“It never ceases to amaze me how much compassion and love our nurses have for our patients.  They always step up to help in whatever way they can and truly connect with the families and loved ones.  I am extremely proud of all of them!” commented Pam Harmon, RN, Chief Nursing Officer.

Please join RCH in appreciation of the nurses at Solomon Valley Manor, Redbud Village, Rooks County Health Department and of course our very own heroes in scrubs.
