Cindi Knipp Nominated for KHHRA Professional of the Year

Cindi was up for nomination for the Kansas Healthcare Human Resources Association (KHHRA) Professional of the Year at the recent Kansas Hospital Association convention held in Wichita.

Cindi began at Rooks County Health Center as the Payroll Manager/HR Director in 2004.

Leading by example is one of the hallmarks of Cindi’s approach to her job. She demonstrates all the professional and personal qualities she expects of all RCH staff, not only at work but also through her community involvement. She has put in many volunteer hours of community service through her church and civic work and also during RCH affiliated special events.

Cindi is always at the forefront of the fast paced changes that occur in human resources management. Most recently she spearheaded and implemented new social media guidelines for RCH staff as well as aggression management training designed to help maintain a safe working environment at RCH.

As in most rural hospitals, Cindi fills many roles, never turning down a task or offloading a job on to someone else. As a member of the RCH Senior Leadership, she is known as a team player who can always be counted on in any situation.

Cindi was recognized along with other nominees at the KHHRA awards luncheon held during the convention on September 5 in Wichita.
