RCH Welcomes New Year’s Baby

Nolan Michael Baxter, the first baby born at Rooks County Health Center (RCH) in 2018, is the son of Tawny and Ryan Baxter.  He was born January 3, 2018 at 4:56 p.m. He weighed 9 lbs, 6 oz and was 21 inches long. Nolan’s mother works as a registered nurse at Rooks County Health Center, and his dad is a Trooper for the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The RCH Auxiliary presents gifts to the New Year’s Baby each year.  Pictured from left with gifts are Auxiliary Member Diane McReynolds, Tawny Baxter and son Nolan, and Auxiliary members Kathy Ramsay and June Mongeau.

Tawny had her first daughter, Ruby, at RCH and said it was such a great experience that she couldn’t imagine having her baby anywhere else.
