2020 RCH Employee of the Year
The 2020 RCH Employee of the year is Pam Harmon. Pam has worked at RCH for 10 years. Previously she worked in a hospital in eastern Kansas. Pam was born and raised in Oberlin. She’s married with 3 children and happily involved with her grandchildren. Pam loves to go camping and loves to read. She received her RN degree in 1996. She has served on the Kansas Legislative Committee and the Kansas State Board nomination committee.
She arrived at RCH with high recommendations and is known to be easy to work with and to “tell it like it is”. She steps up to the plate and helps with hands on nursing in addition to her huge workload as Chief Nursing Officer of RCH. Pam is famous for the hours she puts into her work, usually arriving between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. to start her work day.
Pam was quick to deflect congratulations for her award by saying “2020 was a very tough year for everyone and it took a team effort on the part of the entire staff to accomplish what we did. RCH is the best because our people are the best”.
We are proud of Pam and happy to present her as the RCH Employee of the Year for 2020!!!
