Doctors Without Delay Welcomes New Provider

Doctors Without Delay Walk-In Clinic welcomes Nichole Ganoung, PA-C as the newest provider at the clinic. She joins Dallas Dooley, APRN, as the two providers who will be the primary staff for the clinic. There are now eight providers available to provide coverage at the clinic. Doctors Without Delay is located inside Rooks County Health Center (RCH) at 1210 N. Washington along US HWY 183 just north of Plainville. The clinic is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

“Rooks County Health Center ‘s campus is very impressive and houses a lot of state-of-the-art equipment typically not found in a critical access hospital,” stated Ganoug. According to Ganoung the CT Scanner, Stroke Robot and new Nuclear Medicine and MRI Suite are essential to enhancing patient care and saving lives. With the walk-in clinic located inside RCH, patients have immediate access to these screening devices without leaving the building or incurring ambulance expenses should their condition merit a trip to the Emergency Room.

Ganoung brings 10 years experience as a Physician Assistant to Doctors Without Delay. She spent eight years working in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep medicine before practicing Family Medicine the last two years. She is a native of Jetmore, KS and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas and a Masters in Health Science and Physician Assistant certificate from Duke University. She is married to Tyler Ganoung of Plainville and they have two sons, Tyson and Benjamin. When not in the clinic, Ganoung spends time with her family and is involved with her church. She enjoys quilting whenever she can.
