COOK

HOUSEKEEPER

At Rooks County Health Center every job makes a difference every day – both in our community and in the lives of the people who work here.  RCH has a full-time position in the Housekeeping/Laundry Department.  The individual’s primary responsibility will be routine cleaning of the hospital.  The individual will also be responsible for the collection and laundering of linens.  Must pass a POET, physical and drug screen test. 

DOCTORS WITHOUT DELAY CLINIC RECEPTIONIST

Rooks County Health Center has an opening for a full-time receptionist in the walk-in clinic, Doctors Without Delay.  The individual will have the opportunity to work with a team of caring health professionals, providing medical services on an urgent care basis.  Job duties include patient scheduling, chart preparation, demographic and insurance information collection, determining copay and balance due and collecting same, answering the phone with notation and distribution of messages, scanning and fax management.

Opportunities for growth are limitless.  Computer knowledge and experience is required.  Electronic health record experience is preferred.  RCH offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

DWD PHYSICIAN/ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

Rooks County Health Center (RCH) is delighted to announce a full time opening at Doctors Without Delay (DWD) for a physician or allied health professional with urgent care and emergency department experience. RCH is a progressive medical facility known for the quality of care we provide to our community and was recently recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the top 100 critical access hospitals in the nation. We are looking for another amazing individual to join our provider team!

The position offers a fantastic work schedule of three 12-hour weekday shifts (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7a to 7p) and the option to cover additional overnight or weekend shifts if desired (no obligation or expectation). Duties will include caring for patients in DWD from 8a to 6p and covering the RCH emergency room during each shift. Local supervision and back-up are provided for allied health professionals.

Qualified applicants must have successfully completed training in a recognized APRN, PA, MD or DO program and hold a valid Kansas license to practice medicine. Experience in urgent care and emergency department settings is required. Mandatory certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and PALS; optional certification in NRP is beneficial. Collaborative practice habits, desire to serve the Rooks County community and love for performance improvement are critical qualities of our ideal candidate.

RCH provides a model setting to practice urgent care, offering on-site full service radiology including CT, sonogram and MRI, a broad menu of lab services for routine and stat testing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, a full-time pharmacist and comprehensive outpatient nursing services.
